FDL democrats, candidates meet to discuss 2018 campaigns
FOND DU LAC - Local democrats packed in Sunday to meet with candidates for local and state positions, at the Fond du Lac American Legion Hall, as part of the fifth-annual Summer Picnic fundraiser.
Candidates in attendance included Andy Gronik, candidate for Governor of Wisconsin and Tim Burns, candidate for state supreme court.
Burns' campaign hears of a need for fair and impartial judges across the state, he said.
"I think that 2018 is going to be the year where people will be in a difficult situation because we have leadership right now that is allowing the economy to fall apart, and we need to change the situation," Burns said. "The courts in Wisconsin also need a dramatic change, because we have very real problems to solve. We need judges who will look at things fairly."
